Twelve security checkpoints have been established at the entrances and exits of Abu Dhabi to follow up on the implementation of the decision issued by the Committee for Emergency Management, Crises and Disasters. This is in line with the national survey project to limit the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
Abu Dhabi Police call on the public to adhere to the instructions issued regarding the prohibition of movement to and from Abu Dhabi and between its cities. This is advised to avoid traffic congestion at the checkpoints on the roads of the emirate.
Residents that need to be out should take permits from the Abu Dhabi Police website before commuting.
