On 12 August 2020, Jordan announced the closure of its land trade border crossing with Syria after a rise in COVID19 cases coming from its northern neighbour. Reuters reported.
Jordan’s other land crossings with Saudi Arabia, Israel and the Palestinian Territories are only open for commercial goods since the lockdown in March.
