On 23 Feb, an explosive device detonated at a rally in support of Ethiopian Prime Minister Ably Ahmed. The explosion injured approximately 30 people.
The incident took place in Ambo, 100km west of Addis Ababa.
Police have reportedly arrested 6 individuals in connection with the attack. The attack is believed to have been carried out by Oromo Liberation Army (OLA), the armed faction of the Oromo Liberation Front, who are an opposition party.
